Balancing Your Nervous System
COURSE DESCRIPTION
So often we are moving through life sleepwalking. Surviving. Maybe feeling like something is just off, or not quite right. We might be dealing with anxiety, depression, insomnia, challenges with eating, difficulties expressing ourselves, isolation, or struggles in relationships. These are symptoms. Symptoms of a lack of safety in our body; a disregulated nervous system. Unless we begin to feel the difference we don’t know what is available to us. Connecting to a felt sense of safety within our bodies is foundational for healing, growing and thriving. Creating an environment within and around our bodies to live awake.
What if your day to day could start to feel different? What if you could start to experience peaceful presence with yourself and others? What if you could begin to shift from surviving to thriving?
Within this four week course we begin the journey to cultivate a safe environment for bodies to thrive again. We will do this by understanding the state of our nervous system by learning how to identify and understand our thoughts and emotions. You’ll also learn tools to create your own sense of calm and safety.
Understanding, resetting, and supporting our nervous system is the fertile ground where all healing lies!
HOW WE WILL DO THIS / WHAT TO EXPECT:
We are committed to offering a grounded, safe, and sometimes playful environment for you to learn how to create your own calm and safety. Our goal is to guide and equip you with tools to shift from a state of surviving to thriving.
We will meet virtually for four weeks to compassionately explore the state of our nervous system.
Our Balancing Your Nervous System 4-week course will meet on Wednesday evenings for a check in and discussion and on Fridays mid-day for a guided practice (MST).
HOW THIS COURSE WORKS:
Once you sign up you will receive a confirmation email welcoming you to the journey. Additionally, we will include a list of other items you might like to have on hand throughout the course, such as a journal, fuzzy blanket, etc.
Each week you will receive a PDF document to be your companion throughout that week!
You will receive a link to our Facebook group that will be the landing page for all of us to gather in, outside of the course.
After the completion of this 4-week course, you will be connected as a group, forming a support community with options for deeper coaching 1:1 or in a group setting.

ABOUT YOUR COACHES:
Kat Dickinson is a Spiritual Health and Wellness Coach who is deeply passionate in guiding others to transform and expand their lives. She believes that connecting to a felt sense of safety is the soil in which transformation takes place. Her grounded and heart-centered approach nurtures others to discover their true nature and authentic self. She loves helping others remember that they have their own internal compass, everything within that’s needed to heal themselves.
Lauren Stephan is passionate about leading others in reclaiming their birthright of rest. Her warm, intuitive approach of holding space invites others to connect to their own essence and felt sense of empowerment. She is passionate about celebrating one another’s innate sensitivities and reconnecting to each individual’s sense of possibility. She holds ethical space for others to connect to their own wisdom.
Kat and Lauren run Terra Firma Healing Arts and regularly lead retreats, sound healings, and other healing circles, which has made them well-versed in holding space for nervous system regulation. They’ve developed a keen ability to create supportive, calming environments where individuals can safely explore their emotions, tune in, and learn tools for self-regulation.
